The beach outside the Unawatuna Beach Resort. Posted by Picasa

Day view. Right where the restaurant ends, the dining area for UBR guests begin. Posted by Picasa

Illegal restaurant outside the Unawatuna Beach Resort in Unawatuna. Such restaurants are many and they line the coast. These were all washed out, just like UBR, during the tsunami. Posted by Picasa

Stilt fishing. This is one of the wonders in Sri Lanka. When the tsunami came, all these were wiped out. I don't know if we'll ever see them again. Posted by Picasa

The stilts for stilt fishing. Posted by Picasa

Excellent mangoes by the roadside beside the waterfall. Eat them with a sprinkle of dried chilli, dark sauce and sugar. Or just eat them as they are. I'm drooling, thinking about them... Posted by Picasa

The Tea Factory Hotel at night. Posted by Picasa

The tea plantation at the Tea Factory Hotel. There are tours in the morning where guests can go down here and pluck tea leaves. The leaves will be processed and by the next morning, guests can bring their own blend of tea, picked by themselves, home! Too bad I didn't have enough time up there. Posted by Picasa

Inside the Tea Factory Hotel. This is a mini suite. I am reminiscing the wonderful stay here! Posted by Picasa
