The bridge joins the north and south banks of the Yangtse River and the innovative Chinese use the numbers 1 to 10 for the bridge. It is the first bridge China built. It has two uses (cars and train). It allows three transportation modes to travel on/under it. 4.5 km is the length of the bridge, 6.7 km is the length of the railway tracks. There are eight observation pillars rising over 70 meters, four on each side. There are 9 pillars supporting the bridge in the river, opening up 10 water passages underneath for passing ships. I think I deserve a 10 for my memory, no?
