General Yue's remains used to be buried under the large tomb whereas the smaller tomb is erected in honour of his son (and contained some of younger Yue's belongings). These tombs were raided and destroyed during the Cultural Revolution and the buried remains were all stolen. The tombs and headstones were re-erected as China begins to look back and realise the importance of its history.
